Making a bug report

If the bug is reproducible please try the latest beta first to check if it has been fixed already. When StaxRip crashes it saves a diagnostic file on the desktop, the diagnostic file can also be generated manually from the main menu (Help/Make Bug Report). Please post to the forum and attach the diagnostic file. Attaching the diagnostic file is mandatory for every bug report, please ensure source files have been opened before generating the diagnostic file manually.

Making a feature request

Please try the latest beta first to check if the feature has already been added, use the the forum to request features. Create a separate thread for each feature request, explain as clear and detailed as possible. Explain a detailed scenario, explain why it would be useful, how it could look like, how it could be implemented and what resources could help me to implement it.

Making a donation

Sitting endless hours in front of the PC providing support, working on new features and the website takes a lot time and energy. You can support my effort with a donation helping me to cover my costs like the web hosting bill. Please follow the instructions after clicking the donate button. Please leave a note on the donation form if the donation should rather be used to improve Blu-Ray or Vista x64 support. Once I've received enough donations to buy a Blu-Ray drive or Vista x64, I can improve StaxRip's support for Blu-Ray and Vista x64. So far I've received 30$ for Vista x64 and 0$ for Blue-ray.
